It's 1998 and we are in Venezuela, witnessing one of the most magic parties on planet Gaia ever....a Full Solar Eclipse... Those who had the luck to witness this once or several times in their lives, know this is a moment never to forget...

Inspired and forever infected by this amazing Solar Eclipse party in her own country, Ada Peña or Djane Ada knew that this was the music she wanted to dedicate her life to. From 1999 on she has unstoppably put all her energy in trying to build up the goa/psychedelic trance scene in Venezuela, together with her friends.
Since then her name has been shooting up like a rising star in her own country. Organizing parties allover, from the suburbs of Caracas, to allover the countryside and on the magic beaches of the Caribbean, has gotten her a solid position in the scene in her own country. Her and this inspired group of friends have managed to promote psy-trance on the usual parties and festivals, art exhibitions/expositions, and even special events such as an extreme sports event & a parachute show. Next to that she has been active as a producer also, working on the project Nostromus, together with her ex-partner Dj Blade., in other words this woman is a very active contributing member of our psy-trance scene.

Her Dj-sets characterize themselves as a powerful adventurous mystical story, a long journey through mind-altering psychedelic soundscapes. Anything from deep psychedelic night sounds till the most beautiful euphoric morning melodies are mixed together powerfully and smoothly by this Djane. Her main aim is to touch the soul of her audience, to hypnotize and guide people through a healing & transforming journey, deep and tribal, in touch with our roots as cosmic beings on earth, all dancing to the same beat on mother earth...

Her name has spread rapidly like a running fire through her own country and Columbia. She played in many Venezuelan and Colombian clubs such as Guarana Bar, Eliptica Club, Caterpillar, Santa La Diabla and others. Next to that she organized regular nights in Electro Club and The Flower as a resident Djane and organizer/promoter in her city Caracas in Venezuela. Also she's been Dj-ing @ the "Euphoria 2012" festival on NYE 2004/2005 in Columbia and played in several other clubs and parties there.

January 2005 brought a complete change in the career of Djane Ada, she became the label partner of Dj Shawnodese and joined him in managing and running Mind Funk Records (later changed into Mind Funk Music - 2006). From there on bookings have been coming in rapidly in north-west Europe with the main focus on Holland & Germany.

Together with her partner in love Dj Shawnodese she has been touring north-west Europe for the 3 months she was officially allowed to staying Europe, being a Venezuelan amazone....the mini-tour led to gigs in Zaandam & Amsterdam in Holland, Langen, Hannover, Frankfurt & Munster (Mind Funk Labelparty). Unfortunately the 2 main events of her mini-europe tour had to get cancelled: Antaris Project (Germany) and Mythos Production (Switzerland), due to the experation of her visa. Being back she's been kicking up dust old-skool in her own country Venezuela again and parties followed like Area 51, Induccion and Chakra Check. Last 2 were together with her partner Dj Shawnodese again, during his first visit to Venezuela in may/june 2006.

Shortly after his departure back to Europe, Djane Ada had the wonderful news that she was pregnant and that she was expecting the fruit of their love, but unfortunately due to a small accident she was forced to hold the bed for many months in a row, to not risk loosing the baby. Since that moment she's not really been Dj-ing for quite some time, due to recovering and giving birth to the baby in February 2006.

Now, after their beautiful son Ilya has been born and thanks to intense support of her family and husband Dj Shawnodese, she is finally back on track and the 1st small birthday and private parties have been privileged with her passionate and powerful psychedelic sets again. Her official come back couldn't have been picked better then at the already legendary "Ultra-High-Frequency" party in Rio Chico (Venezuela), which has created a storm of reactions and turned the whole north of Venezuela upside down for it's unmatched professionalism and fusion of every major electronic dancestyle together in 1 beautiful mini-festival.
One of the absolute highlights was the return of this passionate and powerful amazon Djane with her slamming powerful twilight set she delivered on he spot @ "U.H.F". Djane Ada is back and a Djane to be watched out for in the near future, 'cause this mamasita is gonna rock your world!

Due to the birth of her beautiful son Ilya, Djane Ada has been temporarely unavailable for bookings. She’s back in action and you can contact booking@mind-funk-music.com for any possibe interest and/or questions.
