He started playing in 1999 at small parties of friends but has been pushing & promoting himself heavily the last 3 years with the result he's been Dj-ing on many festivals and parties on German national and international level.

His main reasons to become a Dj, was to spread his love for the true psychedelic music he loves so much. Another major factor of stimulation was the unhappiness with all the monotonous progressive music being played at almost all German Festivals around the years 1999/2000 and after. He decided to start kicking up some dust himself with real psychedelic music 'cause he felt there was a major need for it in his own country.

So far Daksinamurti has been representing Organic Records and Shiva Space Technology and lately 1st one has been replaced by our Mind Funk Music label, which suits his taste for music a lot better in his own opinion.

His taste of music is exactly fitting the Mind Funk profile, which is consisting out of knocklebusting kicks, deep throbbing bass lines, combined with powerful & intelligent synths and not just commercial crap as found on way to many releases nowadays. Perfect nighttime/twilight psychedelic powertrance is the recipe here, next to also have a real weakness for well produced and intelligent soulful morning or daytime sounds.

The last few years have been the breakthrough on international level for Daksinamurti and his appearances at Omni (Spain) & Freedom Festival (Portugal) are a good example for that and what's more to come. This year he managed to get himself booked for Full Moon Festival & Antaris Project, 2 of Germany's major festivals, without a doubt both milestones in his career and there's lots more to come... We can guarantee you that!

The list of places with his appearances is growing rapidly with countries such as Germany, Portugal, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Norway, Thailand, India and the USA already listed in his personal hall of fame.

Latest news on this new super talented Dj is his upcoming compilation to be released this summer on Shiva Space Technology, named "Spiritually Spaced ouT", featuring top class artists such as Concept, Hydraglyph, Khopat, Mechanix, Menog, O.I.L., Scorb vs. Tenzing, Shiva, Sick Addiction and finally Slug. Last 2 are also featured on the latest Mind Funk Music compilation "Complex Cosmic Creation" which is more then a bit of proof of the fact that this Dj absolutely fits the Mind Funk profile without a bit of doubt and we at Mind Funk are proud to have this new talent aboard!
