Dennis Tapper founded Hux Flux after being inspired by the now legendary forest parties outside of Örebro in Sweden and is considered as the true originators of the Swedish psychedelic trance sound and many have attempted to copy their unique sound but none have come close...
Soon after the first release in 1998, Dennis was joined by Jonas Pettersson (later to form Logic Bomb), which resulted in the extremely successful debut album "Cryptic Crunch" in 1999 on the just as legendary label Koyote Records. Later Dennis moved to Stockholm and started producing with his old friend Henrik Fietz.
The first release from the partnership was the now classic track, "Idiot", featured on the "A Progress in Trance" compilation on Transient Records. After a few sporadic releases on various labels Hux Flux released the single "Lex Rex Perplex/ Errorhead" on Spiral Trax and plans for an album were made. However due to unfortunate circumstances the work had to be postponed for nearly a year, majorly thanks to his first child being born. Finally, after many delays and problems, the longed for second album, "Division by Zero" has been releases on Spiral Trax.
After this album there has again been a long silence due to Dennis his 2nd child being born in February 2006. In the meantime he has still managed to work on a few tracks in his home studio and has now moved his studio into the center of Stockholm with lots of plans for future releases. One of the first jewels out of his new collection is the "Post 100" you can find on the upcoming release on Mind Funk Music, called "Complex Cosmic Creation".
