After the arrival of the 1st parties, festivals and raves in Venezuela he got more and more sucked into the electronic division of music and all its styles like Drum & Bass, Breakbeat, Techno, Psy-trance and Ambient/Chill-Out. Ot@ decided to start collecting electronic music for his personal satisfaction, and by the year 2000 he had such a big collection that he decided to try his luck with Dj-ing in the nightlife of Caracas. At first he started with ambient and down-tempo sets in some clubs , later also many times as (the opening) Dj at parties of friends, like the Bioluminescence Crew from Caracas.

Inspired by all these parties and his own itch for Dj-ing he decided to start his own organization under the name Inpsyde Crew. Ot@ and his partner Leo Castillo were the both initiators of these monthly psychedelic trance nights that first started in a local bar/club named “Belle Epoque”. In the same year 2003 he was a Dj for and became part of the production team of “Vector”, till the day of today one of the best and most famous parties ever organized in Venezuela. All local heroes were lined-up together with a few travellers passing by in South America of which Da-La (Vaporvent), Montezuma (Euphoria 2012), Krisae (Spontaneous Aerobics) and Trevor Pixie (Dragonfly) were the most prominent names.

Next to his own parties Ot@ has also been part of Euphoria 2003 & 2004, the annual NYE party in Santa Marta – Columbia, organized by Dj Montezuma with his German/Columbian crew and was invited to play Earthdance - Venezuela 2004 as well. After the 1st season of Inpsyde Crew in “Belle Epoque” was finished, they continued the in a new club named “Moulin Rouge” with a 2nd season. The “Ants” nights as they were called, were an excellent new platform to all local and national psy-trance Dj's to show their talent in the capital Caracas. Unfortunately there has come an end to their stomping nights there thanks to new musical policies off “Moulin Rouge” despite it being a majorly successful night.

End 2005 has been the moment for Ot@ to give a more professional swing to his Dj career, thanks to becoming a label-Dj for Mind Funk Music. Ot@ has a wide range of styles, from ambient & down-tempo to progressive and psychedelic trance , which he all masters skillful and perfect.

One of his other musical projects is being part of the music group “Menage”, a 5-man strong formation making Latin American orientated music, all layered on top and fused together with Ot@’s impeccable sense for good electronic down-tempo music. The band exists out of him and his partner Leo Castillo (guitar), who’s one of the most fabulous guitar players of Caracas, then there’s Bebe Quintero (percussion), Rodolfo Reyes (saxophone) and Gerardo Lopez (drums).

Next to all this Ot@ is also an architect in his daily life, 3-D Designer, art designer, makes decoration for parties and is 1 of the main moderators and correspondents of the huge latin American forum www.glowmain.com.
