Djane Shima is Mia Huber, a real southern German lady, although her looks would make one suspect more exotic places. 

Her passion for electronic music started in 1998 at her cousin's small home studio in Berlin, where her cousin was working on electronic beats and down-tempo tunes.

In the year 2000, while working at the electronic music clubs in Munich, she discovered her true passion for psychedelic trance at the legendary Natraj Temple, a club that many of you out there might remember for it's glorious days, and known as the probably best club worldwide during it's highlight years. This was the homebase for Shima for many years to come and it was the place where she got a proper education in what psytrance was truly about. The whole atmosphere and especially the music had a certain spell upon her that she could not and also didn't really want to escape from...

From that moment on her fascination with the Dj-aspect of it all began to grow and she got more and more curious about how it would be to spin the turntables herself and to try and give an audience that magic feeling. She enjoyed herself so many times on the dancefloor. After all.....that is the only proper and true motivation for the real Dj's amongst all of us!

After practising her techniques properly she had little problems to get her 1st gigs sorted in the local scene of Munich and the rest of Bavaria. After 2 years of Dj-ing and promoting herself intensely, she is now a well-known name in many parts of Germany and Austria, and on the verge of a big break-through in the German and Mid-European psytrance scene. She plays her own individual sets as well as teaming up together with her buddy Dj Chuha, also residing in Bavaria and a good friend of the Mind Funk Family.

The main goal for our freshest crew-member Shima is to connect truly to the dancing audience. To send a crowd on a journey, an adventure of sound, where guided by the music people transmitting and transforming energies all contributing to an intense psychedelic and mind-altering atmosphere. She preferably plays a strong combination of night and morning sounds, best played in our beloved twilight hours. Intelligent, soul- and powerful music with rumbling basslines and ripping synths and crispy clear psychedelic sounds are the keywords to describe her powerful sets.
